Why MLK day is a day of service. MLK taught us to work together. He also wanted people of all different ages to come together. MLK day is the perfect day to honor the teachings he talked about. He encouraged people of all backgrounds to work together too. He wanted them to do good things for their communities. The types of services we should do should make us think back to his teachings. And, should also involve something that would have a longterm effect. It could also be something to help fix problems in communities. It could be anything, just as long as it brought the people together. He wanted everyone to get along and love each other.
What I did on Monday for MLK day
What I did on Monday for service was made mine and my sister’s bed. I also took out the trash, and cleaned the dishes. That is all the things I did that I was not asked to do.
